Thank you for coming by. We are developing new ways for you to get involved here at iHigh. As we develop, please give us your feedback. Leave us your comments here.
The relaunch of iHigh.com in September has gone through the first two stages of development. On September 1st, 2007, the new and improved iHigh.com was officially launched, marking the beginning of the iHigh Network, a social-networking site designed to be used as a marketing, and promotional tool for advertisers, promotors, and individuals interested in marketing their product, service, or even themselves in a non-traditional way. The iHigh Social Network is built around communities, and interaction is sparked by competitions. The network offers publishing and design capabilities that are far superior to other networks, such as mySpace or the Facebook.
Competitions, communities, and profiles can be wrapped around a branded image, such as a cola, or a personal brand, such as yourself or a client, with the goal marketing the brand in an interactive way that draws in a community of ambassadors and enthusiasts to rally around the brand. This is where iHigh Interactive, phase two of the relaunch, comes in. It is an interactive agency that connects brands and advertisers to key demographics of these ambassadors and enthusiasts through the use of the social network. iHigh Interactive creates these communities online for local, regional, and national brands, through incentive-ased campaigns, online competitions, text messaging strategies, brand ambassador programs, and targeted media-buying.
iHigh.com's CEO John Williamson, COO Tim Savage, and Accounts and Sales Manager Kevin Hanley make up the iHigh Interactive team. They ask only "what is your #1 initiative for the coming year?" They want to help you find innovative solutions to your top initiatives whether that is finding more ways to promote an artist on your label, to get the word out on a new product launch, directing marketing campaigns more precisely at key demographics, or building consumer confidence and awareness in a brand product.
Some clients of iHigh Interactive include Blue Planet Run and Penn Station Subs. Blue Planet Run is a major charity event happening in March of 2007 benefitting the organizations fighting a worldwide clean water crisis. In March, 12 runners from all across the globe will begin a relay around the world to raise awareness and donations for the water crisis. Blue Planet Run has a community on the iHigh network that rallies internet users around the cause and raises awareness of the event.
Penn Station is using the iHigh Interactive service to recruit franchisees and expand into more markets. The Penn Station site provides an online source of information on franchises and the benefits of becoming a franchisee. It can even directly connect you to a Penn Station service representative that can provide more details over the phone.
iHigh Interactive isn't just for big corporations, major brands, and international organizations. It also serves local and regional communities as well. For instance, The Bourbon Show is a community of bourbon enthusiasts based around an online video show in which various bourbons are taste-tested and reviewed. It is filmed by bourbon enthusiasts in Central Kentucky and has already received attention from Maker's Mark for sponsoring.
Board Up! Miami is a local event taking place in the Spring of 2007 in Miami, inviting wakeboarders and waterskiers from all over the country to watch and compete in various events on the water. The event is making use of iHigh Interactive's services to provide a community supplement to their own website that rallies wakeboarding enthusiasts around the event.
These are a few of the ways that iHigh Interactive has used the web 2.0 applications of the iHigh Network to find solutions for clients. In the coming moths, however, a new tool will be added to iHigh interactive's capabilities. Phase three of the iHigh.com relaunch is the creation of the nCents online currency. nCents are a cashback system of micropayments that allow interaction between online storefronts, clients, and consumers. The micro payments can be bought for a cash exchange or earned through various contests, competitions, surveys, or other online events. These will be heavily used and promoted on the iHigh network but the currency system itself will be larger, and wholly seperate, from iHigh.com. When nCents are bought or earned they can be spent on any participating website on the internet. So someone selling online content for nCents on their iHigh Network site could spend those nCents in the online store at another web site. A contest winner on iHigh could also take the nCents earned in a competition to a different online retailer and cash-in his nCents for CDs, clothing, movies, books, etc. The points can also be cashed-out, so any income earned online with these points can be translated directly back to dollars. The flexibility of the system allows for almost infinite possibilities.
nCents will be launched in January, for more information on how you can use the system for your business contact Tim Savage by email (tim@ihighteam.com), Kevin Hanley (kevin@ihighteam.com), or John Williamson (john@ihighteam.com)

The month of December will be important for the continued development of iHigh.com. While the basic tools on the site are being perfected and we are improving the way the site looks, feels, and acts, we are also moving closer to the launch of nCents, the new cashback micropayment system and online currency. This will allow any internet user to set up an online storefront with ease, it will be even easier for iHigh.com users.
We also have a few new competitions up on the site: the Grinch Drawing Jam and Hanging with the Stars art competitions are already up and running as are the Pads-N-Keys Beats Competition and the second rounds of both the Unsigned Band and Spittin 16.
Check all of these out and come back here and comment to give us some feedback.
